Thomson Reuters and BlumbergExcelsior signed on October 25 a strategic licensing agreement that adds more than 230 Blumberg New York forms to Westlaw Form Builder. I was obviously too busy planning my Halloween costume (W. Rabbit) to be bothered at the time. I will be catching up with this and other news now that I've had my fill of candy and Sandy has run its course over New York.
The list of New York forms now available in Form Builder cover several practice areas including litigation, real estate, landlord-tenant and powers of attorney.
The Blumberg forms will be added to Westlaw Form Builder's New York libraries and will be available to existing New York Form Builder customers at no additional charge. Blumberg customers will benefit from the agreement because it allows them access select Westlaw forms that will be licensed for use on Blumberg's legal forms online.
Westlaw Form Builder customers will have the ability to:
• auto-fill Blumberg forms;
• purchase Blumberg forms on a subscription basis instead of a transaction basis; and
• navigate more easily from Blumberg forms to Westlaw's form repository.
