Thomson Reuters, a provider of information for businesses and legal professionals, is launching the mobile application of WestlawNext's reporting tool, Case Evaluator. The new mobile format will allow users to research information about similar cases from any internet-enabled location, be it in court, in a meeting, or commuting across town or country.
Case Evaluator is designed to allow users to evaluate potential cases, steer the direction of negotiation and settlement, and analyze verdicts in various jurisdictions.
Although the new mobile version doesn't contain the full features of the desktop version of Case Evaluator, the mobile code has been designed to offer features that appeal to road warriors. Users can view case awards data and analyze of award amounts by selectable criteria. You can also email PDF versions of Case Evaluator reports.
The mobile Case Evaluator supports Applie iOS and Android smartphones.
