Vizibility Inc. provides attorneys and law firms with a mobile identity management platform. The company's Mobile Business Card product can be shared without an app via QR code and a mobile wallet card with NFC (Near Field Communication).
Vizibility launched their Online Identity Manager (OIM), an online identity management and tracking tool in June. The tool has a dashboard that allows marketing and business development teams to monitor the online identity status for legal professionals. Recently, they have been adding some name-brand law firms to their clientele.
Law firms such as Loeb & Loeb, McCarter & English, and Lowenstein Sandler are now using mobile business cards for their attorneys and managing their people's online identity with OIM. Most recently, Edwards Wildman Palmer (Am Law 100) and Goldberg Segalla now have their attorneys "Vizible" using Vizibility's identity management tools.
I tried out a free Mobile Business Card for my identity. It was a snap to set up. Without Vizibility, a Google search targeting "Sean Doherty" hits me in three percent of the first three pages of results. With Vizibility managing the search, viz.me/sdoherty, it's all about me. If you click on that link with a smartphone, you will see my Mobile Business Card; if from a PC, you will see Google results filtered by Vizibility.
If I were in the context of a law firm, that firm can synchronize their corporate directory to tie into Vizibility and marketing and business developers can see through the OIM how clients and potential clients are engaging me.
Now, welcome me back. This blog, as well as @LTNSeanDoherty, has been almost dormant since returning from a leave of absence in 2011.
